Pennhiker's '99 CR-V  back to top

Front Quarter view
Sometimes it's not about the car, but what you do with it. When Honda said the CR-V was a four-wheel drive, Pennhiker took them at their word...

"This is my 1999 CR-V. I needed a vehicle that would carry my family of 5 and still get decent fuel mileage. We had a Nissan Quest before but the fuel mileage wasn't great and as an avid geocacher, hiker and trout fisherman, I wanted something that had a little more ground clearance for traversing the state forest roads in Pennsylvania and the CR-V is perfect for that. We spend many hours cruising the forest roads in all kinds of weather and are usually the first people out driving around after a big snow."

Underside snow
Lots of snow in Pennsylvania. Much like my neck of the woods in Canada, actually...

Now, what do you do after your valiant CR-V gets you safely to your destination through the snowy hills? Why, you hop in your hot-tub, of course...

Hot tubbing, PA style
More hot-tubbing
I suspect the hot-tub isn't really that hot...

Honda owners have a good sense of humor, especially the Polar Bear Swimmers.
